How to Play T-Rex Runner

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select anywhere on the welcome screen to begin.

To jump, press the space bar, left click with your mouse, or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.

Basic Gameplay Advice

As a Tyrannosaurus rex, jump over the obstacles that you encounter as you run. You automatically move by yourself.

The two obstacles are cacti come in clumps. The clumps start off with just one cactus but gradually increase in density as the game progresses. Jump over them at the right time to evade them. Pterosaurs, meanwhile, can fly low or high. Jump when the pterosaurs are flying low and stay down when the pterosaurs are flying high.

As the game progresses, you start running faster and the obstacles get more frequent. The game ends when you hit anything.

You earn points based on how long you’ve been running. Your browser automatically saves your best score; your previous best score appears below your current score on the top right corner of the game screen.
