Sushi Challenge is a match 3 game themed after a sushi bar. Form rows of 3 or more identical sushi rolls to clear them. Satisfy the orders of four of the most finicky sushi connoisseurs to win.

How to Play Sushi Challenge

Select by left clicking with your mouse or tapping on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Start Game at the center to begin. Select How to Play to get an introduction to the game’s rules.

Select the sushi roll to move it around, then release to drop it in place.

Basic Gameplay Advice

To clear or serve sushi rolls, form rows of 3 or more of the kind. To form rows of sushi rolls, select a sushi roll, then drag it to where you think it should go. To serve the sushi rolls, they must match the one the customer is asking for.

The customers have a limited amount of satisfaction, marked by the meter just above the grid where the sushi rolls appear. As the game progresses, the meter decays. Meanwhile, fulfilling the exact order the customer to fill up the meter. If you move the sushi and fail to create the row that satisfies them, they will get angry and lose patience. The game ends if the customer loses all their patience.

Once the customer’s satisfaction meter is full, a new customer replaces them. The game has 4 customers, representing stock characters found within Japan:

• The first is a simple white collar worker
• The second is an action anime (Shonen) protagonist-type man
• The third is a gruff-looking fellow that appears to be part of the Yakuza.
• The fourth is a sumo wrestler.

Satisfy the sumo wrestler and you win the game.

You receive a minimum of 100 points for every row of sushi you clear that was ordered by the customer. In addition, you gain a combo bonus of 25 points for every extra row cleared alongside the valid one. Making moves or clearing rows that the customer didn’t ask for will deduct 30 points from your score. The score does not add to your total and merely serves to fill up the satisfaction meter.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

There are times when you must lower your satisfaction to get the sushi rolls you need. Keep these to a minimum by clearing sushi rolls, which will allow the game to generate new rolls.
