Basic Gameplay Advice
Maneuver the submarine around the caves trying to locate the gem-like exit beacon. Do not crash into walls, spikes, sea mines, sharks, or fish. Touching anything leads to an immediate death, requiring you to play the stage over again.
This game features 10 levels unlocked sequentially.
The submarine does not move until you make your initial move. Stages with fish on them can see the fish move even before the sub does, which can impact your timing to pass through some areas of the stages.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
On some stages the fish paths require you to wait around or stall rather than rush through the stage as fast as possible, as the clearance is too tight to race the fish.
When you change the direction the submarine is facing (left or right) the switch is immediate. This can cause issues with running into stuff if you do not have adequate leeway and do not move further in the other direction first before switching where you face. Try to align the vertical alignment so that you do not need to change which direction the submarine points while making large vertical climbs or descending deeply.
As you move the submarine around the sea you can get a feel for where the “edges” of the submarine are. The tail screw does not hit things but most of the rest of the submarine does.
While you are climbing the submarine has the front of the hull pointing up slightly, so if the vertical clearance is tight you might want to get most of the climb done in advance so that the sub has more of a flat profile while going through thin passages.
If the cave is at an angle it is best to ascend or descend while moving horizontally, rather than doing them one at a time.
Some stages have multiple parallel paths through parts of them. If you struggle with one path and there is another way, try going down the other route.
