Basic Gameplay Advice
Enemies
Each stage has a number of stickmen enemies you must defeat. Some stickmen fire back at you after you shoot and miss, while other stickmen have timers above their heads and shoot at you whenever the stickman timer reaches zero.
Your shot is considered a miss if it does not defeat a stickman.
Stickmen can be defeated with a single headshot, or you can defeat them by repeatedly striking their bodies until you do 10 hit points of damage.
Levels & Star Ratings
This game has 36 stages which are unlocked sequentially. If you lose a stage you can replay it as many times as needed to beat it.
You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage by using arrows efficiently, for a total of 108 stars in the game. To earn a 3-star rating you need to defeat each enemy with a single headshot. If you earn fewer than 3 stars you can still play on through subsequent stages, then come back to replay the level which had a lower star rating.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Attack Order
When you are on stages with stickmen that have countdown bars over their heads it is best to take out those stickmen first, so that you can take your time and slowly aim at the other stickmen.
After taking out the countdown stickmen try to go for the stickmen which are nearest and easiest to aim at first, as this way you keep making progress and only take the hardest shots near the end of the stage when there are few enemies or only a single enemy.
Aiming
Some shots are so easy you can put the guide dots over the heads of enemies to ensure you hit them. Other shots require you to estimate the back portion of the arrow’s path. Make the easy shots before doing the harder ones. When taking the harder shots you can use some of the on-screen platforms and screen background objects as measuring points.
Moving Targets
When you are shooting enemies on moving platforms be sure to measure their movements. In some cases the moving platforms stall at certain positions. If the platform does not stop it is typically best to aim at it when it is moving forward, near its low point, and close to you, so that you have greater odds of hitting them from a closer distance.
Educational Aspects
This game has a physics component to it, where you must estimate the projection of an arrow based on force and shot angle, while also figuring out where it may connect with stickmen which can be off screen or standing on moving platforms.
Player Age Recommendations
This game features playing with bow and arrow, along with cartoon blood from stickmen. Other than that, there are no adult-oriented features. We recommend this game for adults and children old enough to distinguish between games or cartoons and reality.
