Squeeze Oranges Game Review
Squeeze Oranges Game Background
Squeeze Oranges is a container-filling physics game. Fill up a whole glass with juice from a single orange by squeezing it exactly once. Fill the glass to at least the line marked by the dotted line without making it overflow.
This game was published by Depfov.
How to Play Squeeze Oranges
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to open the level selection screen. Select the icon of an unlocked level to begin.
Select the orange to squeeze it, then release your selection to stop. To restart the level, select anywhere onscreen twice.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Your goal is to pour down the juice squeezed from one orange to a glass. Fill the glass until the dotted line to finish the level. The juice must flow down an obstacle course of platforms to reach the glass. Do not let the glass overflow.
You will fail the level if you pour too little or too much juice in the glass. Juice that simply misses the container will not count against you.
The game has 30 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten. Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Later in the game, you must pour down the juice through several platforms. These will divert the juice, causing it to pool up in places or overshoot the container. This adds a unique challenge to later gameplay and will affect exactly how long you need to squeeze the orange.
Analyze the obstacles carefully and try to determine if parts of the platform will hold the liquid or redirect it. This is usually easy enough to learn in spite of the limitations of the game’s physics engine. Likewise, if the liquid will eventually flow down rather than pool, consider the time the delay will take and how many other platforms are also storing juice. Should the platforms divert the flow, try to see how much juice actually goes into the glass compared to how much is redirected.
Sometimes, the best way to solve the level is by trial and error. Refine the length of your squeezes by keeping track of how each one plays out. Make adjustments based on how you see the flow behave throughout the level. When doing trial and error, it pays to be precise. Count the number of seconds it takes for you to squeeze or for the juice to touch the container.
