Soldier Legend Game Background

Soldier legend is a simple 2D survival shooting game. You play as a lone soldier in the middle of a battle zone against invading alien creatures with a taste for flesh. Shoot down enemies and survive as many waves as you can.

The game was developed by Demonte Maximiliano of QKY Games Studio.

How to Play Soldier Legend

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Left click or tap anywhere on the starting screen to load the welcome screen. On the welcome screen, left click or tap anywhere to play.

If you’re playing on a desktop, left click with your mouse to shoot. Press the left and right arrows to move horizontally, and press the up arrow to jump.

If you’re playing on a touchscreen device, you will notice the controls appear on either corner of the bottom row. The arrows appear on the bottom left corner; the left and right arrows let you move horizontally, while the up arrow lets you jump. The control stick on the bottom right both lets you shoot and controls the direction of where you shoot.

Shoot the oncoming enemies to take them out. When the enemies close in or you need to reload, jump and move away to keep clear of them. You cannot shoot your enemies point blank, so it’s important to flee before they get too close. Clear each level by surviving all of the waves of enemies that attack.

Enemy attacks will slowly whittle down your health. Lose all your health and you will fail the level. You can retry levels you failed as many times as you like.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Levels are unlocked sequentially. You can play through as many levels as you can. The game’s rewards have an upper limit of 30 levels.

Enemies come from the land and sky. Some enemies can jump, which makes evading them by jumping more difficult. It takes a few shots to take out even the weakest enemies. After a few shots, your weapon will run out of ammo and will need to reload. You will not be able to attack while your weapon is reloading.

From Level 4 onward, you receive a temporary robot assistant that will help you attack your enemies. The robot will only stay with you for a short time, indicated by the bar above it. The robot will be available to you after a cooldown time.

Besides coins, you also have 100 mana orbs that you can use for power ups. The 3 power ups available in-game are as follows:

• Mines blow up enemies that step on them.
• Bombs rain from the sky and attack enemies.
• Machine guns attack enemies from all directions.

Over time, you replenish your mana orbs, which will allow you to redeploy power ups as needed.

Enemies drop coins. These will disappear if not collected quickly. Pick up the coins by moving toward them. Use the coins you’ve collected to purchase newer, more effective weapons to clear out your enemies more efficiently. You can also use coins to speed up the cooldown time of your power ups and mana. Finally, you can use coins to upgrade the duration and attack strength of each of the power ups.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Keep moving. Evasive maneuvers can buy you time to reload. When evading two oncoming groups of enemies, hop over the smaller of the two groups. This will help you minimize contact with your enemies and maintain as many of your hit points as you can.

If you ever feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of foes, immediately deploy the power ups you can afford. These can help clear enough foes to make evading them more manageable.

Spend all the coins you can on as many upgrades as you can afford. In the early game, you should first spend your upgrades on a weapon that has more shots. From there, bolster your mana generation and robot cooldown time, followed by upgrades to each of the power ups. Depending on your preferred method of clearing enemies, you may then choose to save up for bigger guns or keep upgrading your robots and power ups.
