MiscGames published this game on February 28, 2023.
How to Play Sokomath
Press your mouse left click over a gray tile and drag your mouse the direction you wish to move the tile. The number tile will slide until it runs into a wall, another tile, or a warp square.
Basic Gameplay Advice
This game has 28 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
When you build valid equations you can only move the light gray tiles & not the black tiles. Tiles in this game include single digit numbers, addition, subtraction, greater than, and less than.
Sections with a neon borders around them are warps where you can push tiles through. When you push a tile through a warp it immediately moves to the other warp position then stops. You can use the warps in either direction, but you can’t use a warp while a number tile is resting atop one of them. If there are multiple neon colors then the warps with the same border color are associated with one another.
Arrow squares on the playing field redirect the direction which number boxes or arithmetic boxes move when they pass over them.
When all of the numerical and arithmetic tiles have been used, form valid equations, and are over the checkered boxes the stage is complete and you move onto the next level.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
In many cases the solutions to level require you moving squares out of position to use them as stops for other squares, then placing them back in position.
Sometimes you have to go through warps many times (and leave squares atop warps) to get squares in the proper stop positions to allow other squares to stop in the middle of the playing field.
If you make a mistake you can press the level restart button in the upper right navigation to reload the current level with its initial conditions.
Educational Aspects
This game is both a simple arithmetic refresher and a spatial logic puzzle game which is enjoyable for all ages.
Player Age Recommendations
This game should be fun for all school aged gamers and above. The last 3 or 4 stages with many colored warps and redirection boxes are a bit tricky, but the first 85% of the game is quite easy.
