Sokogem is a Sokoban-themed game where players must push gems into treasure chests to unlock the door, and then pass through the door to the next stage.

How to Play Sokogem

Press the A key, the Enter key, or tap the welcome screen to start. Select a level to play on the level select screen.

Move the character around the playing field using either the WASD keys or the arrow keys on your keyboard.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal of the game is to store all the gems in the treasure chest, then exit through the door.

When you move in any direction you keep sliding in that direction until you run into something, then you stop. When you run into a gem you push it in the direction you were going until it runs into something.

You must be at least 2 squares away from a gem or stone to be able to move it when you bump into it. Gems must be at least 2 squares away from treasure chests for you to be able to knock them into the treasure chests.

Treasure chests disappear after they have received the correct number of gems. When all treasure chest have been filled the exit door opens.

This game features 15 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

You have to be aligned with a path to the door when you are done getting rid of the treasure chests. Plan your moves so that your next move is available.

Stones can fill in holes in the floor to allow you to walk over them or push gems across them.

If you make a mistake press the R key or the reset button in the upper right corner to restart the current level.

This game can help kids improve problem solving skills.

Player Age Recommendations

This game is fun for all ages. The early levels are easy for young kids. When you get to the back half of the game a bit more patience or experience with Sokoban games is required to solve all the puzzles.
