Sky Castle Game Review
Sky Castle Game Background
Sky Castle is a medieval fantasy-themed idle tap tower-building game. Click or tap at the right time to lay down sections of a castle. Align each section as closely as possible to the one beneath it and build as big a castle as you can.
This game was developed by MarketJS.
How to Play Sky Castle
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the bottom center to begin.
Select anywhere onscreen to lay down the castle section.
Basic Gameplay Advice
The game plays like any other tower-building tap timing game. You begin with the base floors of a castle, with the uppermost floor moving from left to right automatically. Stop the moving floor at the right time to lay it down as part of the castle. From there, you can lay down another floor and repeat the process. The process continues until you miss.
As much as possible, consider stopping the moving floor just as it lines up to the floor beneath it. Each time the current floor exceeds the floor below, a part of it is cut off. This can result in the castle getting progressively tapered as you move up. As the floors get narrower, it can become increasingly difficult to lay down new floors.
Once the game ends, you have two options:
- You can restart the previous game from the last position you began. This is useful if you ended your game prematurely. However, you can only use this once.
- You can start a new game.
Each floor you lay down is worth 1 point. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. You can view your best score by selecting the medal button on the right side of the screen.
You also earn coins as you move your way up. You can use the coins you earn to buy power ups that appear onscreen. The two power ups, which cost 500 coins apiece, are as follows:
- The double arrows undoes your last move. This is especially useful if your previous move was
- Insurance allows you to build while overshooting the floors. The part of the floor not flush with the one beneath it is not sliced.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Your coins don’t carry over to the next playthrough. Be sure to spend them on power ups whenever you can to maximize the length of your play time.
