Skateboard Hero is an endless skateboarding racing game. Your goal is to move down the skate park for as long as you can. Do sick tricks while playing dirty against the other skating competitors to earn extra points.

This game was developed by MarketJS and is fairly similar to another game by the same developer, Cycling Hero.

How to Play Skateboard Hero

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.

On a desktop, use the WASD or arrow keys on your keyboard to move. Press the W and S or up and down arrow keys to move from one lane to the next. Press the D key or the right arrow key to accelerate. Press the A key or the left arrow key to stop or lean back.

On a touchscreen device, tap on the screen with your fingers to move. Tap on the up and down arrow buttons to move from one lane to the next. Tap on the right arrow button to accelerate or lean forward. Tap on the left arrow button to stop or lean back.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your main goal is to keep moving down the skate park for as long as you can. Gain extra speed using the nitro pads on the pavement. Build up speed as you move toward ramps to gain air time when you jump off it. Nail your landings off the skate ramps to earn bonus points.

Avoid obstacles along the way. Passing by cracks on the pavement will slow you down. Hitting other skaters anywhere other than your rear, meanwhile, will cause you to crash. To make the other skaters crash, move in front of them and hit them from the rear.

You begin each race with 3 lives. Each time you crash, you lose a life. Lose all your lives and it’s game over.

You gradually earn points as you move forwards. You also earn between 400 and 800 points for every successful jump you make. Tripping up other competitors is worth 1,000 points. Your web browser automatically saves your best score; view your latest and best scores on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

To increase the likelihood of sticking your landings, alternate between leaning back and accelerating while in mid-air.
