How to Play School Bus Pickup

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to open the level selection screen. Select an unlocked level from any of the divisions to begin.

Draw a path by selecting the screen with your mouse or fingers.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to set a route for the bus that lets it pick up passengers and drop them off at their homes. Draw the path onto the map; you can move your selection backward to erase and redraw your routes. Once you’re finished, select the play button to get the bus to move. You can also use the fast forward button to run the simulation and the stop button to return the bus to its original position.

Busses must collect passengers of their color and can only drive down a road once. Some levels can have multiple busses. You must ensure that these busses do not crash into each other. The level is complete once all the passengers reach their destinations. You will fail the level if the busses collide, run out of passengers when passing by destinations, or otherwise fail to bring all the passengers home. You can replay each level as many times as you need.

You begin each level with 2 hints. You can use the hints to solve a route for you if you’re having difficulty solving the level.

The game has 30 levels, which are distributed across 6 sections (“towns”) comprising 5 levels each. Each level is unlocked sequentially; finish one level to unlock the next. You can choose to replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The controls are rather clunky. If you’re having trouble moving the arrows back to correct your routes, select the gear button on the bottom right

If you’re ever stumped, you can use the hints to solve one or more of the paths for you. Be aware, though, that you have only 2 of them. Try to solve at least one of the paths by yourself.
