MiscGames published this game on December 3, 2022.
How to Play Santa’s Delivery
Press A, Enter, or touch the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
Move Santa Clause around the house using the WASD keys, the arrow keys, by tapping the screen with a finger and swiping, or using the direction pad on a video game controller.
If you get stuck use the reset button or press the R key on your keyboard to reset the current level.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Each tree has a number near it indicating how many presents you must put under it. Swipe presents into the trees until the trees disappear. When all the gifts have been placed help Santa Claus onto the roof up through the chimney.
You can only push one Christmas Present at a time, and must be at least two squares from a present to push it. Presents must also be at least two squares from Christmas Trees in order to push them under the trees.
If Santa or a present touch a fire you lose the stage. You also lose if Santa or any gifts fall through a hole in the building’s perimeter.
As you advance through the game some stages have snowballs. Like presents, you can only push snowballs one at a time, and you must be at least 2 squares away to push a snowball. If a snowball gets pushed into a fire the snowball melts and the fire is put out.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Since the levels are not timed it can make sense to visualize how moves play out before making any moves, so that you do not make mistakes.
Sometimes you have to move presents further away from a tree in order to move them into a tree.
The order you hit snowballs in matters a lot. Not only do they put out fires, but they can act as temporary stops which enable you to change directions.
Educational Aspects
This game can help kids with route planning and promote creative problem solving skills.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is easy off the start though gets quite challenging over the course of the last half-dozen stages. Players of all ages who like Sokoban games will likely enjoy this game, though young kids probably won’t be able to beat the last 3 levels without seeing a tutorial or extensive experience with video games.
