Rupert Reset is a platformer game where you control a cute animal named Rupert. Stages contain giant pink buttons that can reset the stages to their original states.

How to Play Rupert Reset

Press the gray and black PLAY button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.

Press the WASD keys or the arrow keys to move Rupert around the stage.

Each time you step on the giant pink button the level resets to its original state.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game features 8 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

When you step on the big pink button to reset the stage:

• Items which are outlined in pink return to their original positions. A block which is outlined in pink may lift up then fall to the original spot, crushing any enemies that walk under it.
• Any bricks that are broken, blocks that have been moved (without a pink outline), or gates that are unlocked will remain unlocked.
• Enemies which are not outlined in pink stay as they were before you pushed the button, while those outlined in pink go back to their starting spots.

Avoid falling into the lava, stepping on spikes, running into the sides of enemies, or stepping on the top of enemies which have spiked tops.

Make it to the exit door and press either the W key or the up arrow key to advance to the next stage.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Shelled enemies have the enemy knocked inside the shell when you stomp the shell. If you then push the shell it will stay in constant motion until it goes off platform or until you stomp on it again to stop it.

Spiked enemies which block your path often need to be defeated by knocking them out with a shell. Similarly, long paths of spikes can be crossed by jumping on shelled enemies walking across them.
