How to Play Robo Exit

Press the gray play button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. Select a level number to play the stage.

When a stage loads left click to send the robot in motion. The robot will run until it runs into a wall and stay there. Left click each time you want to make the robot jump.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game features 24 stages which are unlocked sequentially. To beat each stage you must safely grab the key to unlock the door then pass through the open door. Each of the stages have 3 coins on them which you can collect to boost your level score, though they are not required to beat the stages.

The robot runs in whatever direction it is going until it hits into a wall or another obstacle. Each time the robot jumps off a wall it changes directions.

You can jump back and forth between adjacent walls to wall climb. If you are slowly sliding down a wall you will stop at the bottom. You can wait adjacent to the wall for the correct timing to make your next move.

As you advance through the game there are hazardous spikes you must avoid running into, and some moving blades and moving spiked platforms which move along visible or invisible rails along regular patterns. The visible rails are red. If a loop is continuous and solid then the moving blade on it can keep moving in the same direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) around it, whereas if the loop is incomplete that means the blade will move back and forth while alternating directions.

Some of the later levels have concrete gates which block your movements. Passing through adjacent green gates unlocks the larger concrete slabs to allow you to pass through the area.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Moving objects move even before you start moving, so you should time your initial movement so that it is optimally timed against the moving objects on the course.

If you are struggling to get some coins consider skipping them and playing through all the stages, then come back and replay whatever stages you did not collect all the coins on.

Educational Aspects

This game can help teach kids patience, as some of the stages are quite hard and require precise timing to make it through certain areas while avoiding spikes and blades.

Player Age Recommendations

The early stages are easy, making this game fun for all ages. The second half of the game is much more difficult, making it a better fit for gamers who are in middle school or beyond.
