Puzzle Blocks Ancient is a spatial puzzle game where players must rotate and drag pieces into the puzzles to fill in the shapes.

How to Play Puzzle Blocks Ancient

Left click on a piece to rotate it clockwise 90 degrees.

Left click on a piece and hold the left click then drag the piece across the playing field to move it.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Movements

Each time you move a piece it counts against your total movement count. Rotating a piece or dragging it into a different position both count as movements.

Zones, Stages & Levels

This game has 60 stages which are unlocked sequentially. Each stage can have between 1 and 3 zones inside it.

Stages are split across 3 zones of 20 stages each: Egypt, Greece, and Persia. Players must complete one zone to unlock the next.

Egypt has a single stone color. Greece has dual stone colors. Persia adds gems to the mix. Stones must be laid upon placements of the same color, and gems must align with gem indicators on the floor.

Start Ratings

You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage by completing it quickly using few moves. If you are struggling on a stage you can use the hints button in the upper right corner.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

It often helps to figure out where the largest and most irregular piece shapes should go first. Similarly, if there is a long and narrow section that means there are few pieces which can potentially fit in it.

If beating a zone required way too many extraneous moves you can take a screenshot of the final piece placements and use that to replay the stage to try to earn a better star rating on it.
