Popcorn Time 2 Game Background
Popcorn Time 2 is a container-filling game and the sequel to Popcorn Time. Fill in the container below the screen with the right amount of popcorn. Try not waste any popcorn pieces along the way.
This game was published by Depfov.
How to Play Popcorn Time 2
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the red play button to begin. Select the store button on the upper left corner of the welcome screen to open the shop screen.
Select anywhere onscreen and hold to pour or shoot popcorn. Release to stop. You can pour popcorn as many times as you need to.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Your goal is to fill the container at the bottom of the screen with popcorn up to the yellow line indicated. For the game to consider the container filled, every part of the dashed line must turn from yellow to green. A timer will appear once this happens; you will clear the level when the timer that appear must turn yellow. Do not let the container overflow. If you lose more than two pieces of popcorn, you will fail and must play the level again.
The game has an infinite number of level. The first 50 levels are predesigned and unlocked sequentially, while the rest are auto-generated. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. You cannot, however, return to play levels you’ve previously beaten without resetting your progress.
On the first level, you earn 1,000 coins. Subsequently, it can take between 4 and 7 levels to earn 20 coins. These appear on the upper right side of the welcome and game screens. Use your coins to purchase nozzles and food items on the shop screen.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
In general, it’s better to shoot in short bursts than to shoot continuously. Short bursts give you a greater amount of control and allow you to make fine adjustments. On top of that, it will also help you minimize the likelihood of spillage. In levels that are easier to fill, you can shoot continuously early on then switch to short bursts the closer you are to filling the container.
Unlike other games, where the skins you buy are largely cosmetic, the upgrades you do purchase affect gameplay somewhat. More expensive does not translate to better in every circumstance. Some food items and nozzles you purchase can help make easy work of otherwise difficult levels, whereas others may make the level even harder. A few examples:
- Levels where the clearance is tight may need smaller food items. Pizza slices are right out.
- If you need friction to stop the items from rolling, you may need to forego round food items like hard candies and donuts.
If you’re having a difficult time, you can always switch the food items and nozzles you have equipped by going to the shop screen. Remember, too, that earning cash is difficult in this game. Prioritize unlocking food items over nozzles as they provide a greater amount of benefits in-game.
