Pop the Balloons is a simple popping ricochet game. Shoot the spiked ball at the container and pop all the balloons inside. See if you can take out all the balloons in the level in one shot.

The game’s mechanics are similar to Fruit Slice and Thorn and Balloons.

How to Play Pop the Balloons

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers. To begin, select the play button at the center of the welcome screen.

To shoot the spiked ball, select and pull back. Move your fingers or mouse cursor around to aim. Release to shoot.

Basic Gameplay Advice

To finish the level, you must get the spiked ball into the container and have it pop all the balloons. If you miss, you automatically restart the level. Keep playing until you finish the level. This game has no time limit.

The game has 60 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels that you’ve already beaten.

Some levels have brick barriers, which you need to bounce the ball off of to break. Later stages can contain other unique elements like warps, directional force arrows, and flip walls that change orientation as the spike hits it.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Trial and error is a big component of this game. You must often fail and try again to refine your shots. Fortunately, this game provides you with a form of assistance. Each time you restart the level, the trail of your ball’s last path through the level appears as a dashed line. Use this trail to recalibrate your aim and refine your shots.

Use the level’s geometry to your advantage. Aim for the openings or walls of each container so the ball bounces around them as much as possible.
