Pixel Tower Battle is an archery battle game where you have to take out all the enemies on a tower while avoiding their attacks. Change rows to avoid getting hit and shoot each of the opponents until they are gone.

How to Play Pixel Tower Battle

Press the gray play button in the lower center of the welcome screen. On your first play this will bring up a tutorial screen where you can press any key to advance. On subsequent plays you will go through the level select screen, where you have to choose a stage to play.

Press the up arrow key or the W key to move up a row.

Press the down arrow key or the S key to move down a row.

Press and hold the J key to fire an arrow.

Basic Gameplay Advice

You can start shooting arrows even as the level starts, so that you get a hit in right away.

The yellow bar above your character indicates your health, and the white bar indicates your ability to shoot arrows.

This game features 15 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

The game does not award reckless aggression, but rather awards rhythm and timing. The first stage starts off with the basic default enemy, and then as you progress through the game each stage is a tower with a unique set of enemies.

Enemy Types

Each row has an enemy on it. Different types of enemies have unique attack profile signatures which you can time your movements and attacks around.

• Default enemy: clothed in teal, he shoots arrows at about half the rate you can. He takes 4 hits to defeat and can defeat you in 3 hits.
• Orange and brown enemy: This large lumberjack-looking character shoots arrows about as fast as the default enemy does. They take 5 hits to defeat and can defeat you in 2 hits.
• Green ninjas: throws spiked stars at you rather rapidly. They take 3 hits to defeat.
• Axe throwers: he throws axes twice in a row, pauses for a bit, then repeats the cycle. He takes 4 hits to defeat and can defeat you in 2 hits.
• Boomerang fighters: takes 7 hits to defeat. They can hit you with the boomerang on the way out, on the way back, or both!
• Rock throwers: they throw a rock at exactly where you are standing, requiring you to change which row you are on as they defeat you with a single hit.
• Knights / swordsmen: he has a shield which requires you to hit him at the correct time (while he is shooting) or else he bounces your shot back at you. He takes 4 hits to defeat and can one shot defeat you.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

You can start shooting arrows even as the level starts, so that you get a hit in right away.

If the stage has a boulder thrower defeat them first, as they can attack across rows and make it hard for you to defeat other enemies while dealing with their cross-fire. If you are having trouble timing your row movements when fighting a rock thrower sometimes it makes sense to alternate between going above and below them.

Create a clear row to go to as soon as you can, so that you have a safe spot to rest at in between fighting enemies.

Be aware that as you defeat an enemy they can shoot an arrow right around the time they were defeated, so you have to presume there will be one last arrow in most cases.

Wait to fight the knight / swordsman until there is an empty row above or below him.
