Pixel Skate is a minimalistic obstacle course skateboarding game. Players must time the jumps and stops of a skateboarder to safely get him across the courses.

This game was developed by Maximiliano Demonte’s QKY Game Studio.

How to Play Pixel Skate

Tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen. Tap on the play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to go to the level select screen.

Press the up arrow key to jump.

Press the left arrow key to stop, and release to resume travel.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Avoid running into garbage cans, getting crushed by pipes, or having a bouncing ball bump into you. Contact with anything leads to an instant death.

Anytime you stop you instantly fall down to the ground, even if you are in midair.

This game has 24 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If it is hard to clear a ramp jump over garbage cans or you are having trouble landing then jumping again between obstacles you should take advantage of the instant drop from midair to stop your character so you can then perform the second task.

Levels are not timed, so take your time and break large complex stages into smaller sections.

Get rather close to obstacles you want to roll under so that you can make your move right as the time is correct.

Educational Aspects

This is a simple game which is fun, but does not have particularly realistic physics. The main thing this game teaches is patience.

The controls are easy enough and the game is short enough that most gamers of any age should enjoy playing this game.
