How to Play Pig Bubble Jumping

Press the golden yellow button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to start the game.

On your first play the game will show how to use the controls.

Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.

Move right by pressing the D key or the up arrow key.

Jump by pressing the W key, the up arrow key, or the spacebar. Press twice to double jump.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Avoid coming into contact with the bulls, flying spikes, or hitting a bubble with a bomb in it. You only get a single life and die the moment any of these hit you.

Earn points by jumping on bubbles. You can earn additional points by collecting stars from bubbles and jumping on a long streak of bubbles without touching the ground.

The default earnings for popping a bubble is 10 points. If you have a streak going then the score is the streak count times 10 (e.g. a 23 count streak would make the score for popping that bubble 230 points). Bubbles with stars in them get a 5x score, so a bubble which is 23 multiple and a star would be 1,150 points.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Try not to play close to the left edge or right edge of the stage very long, as your play options are more limited near the walls and you have limited time to respond to spikes coming into the stage. Similarly, try not to play too close to the ground or up near the top of the screen for very long.

Keeping streaks going as long as possible is the best way to maximize your game score. As you progress through the game more bubbles have bombs and the spikes move faster, so you really want to ensure you put together a long streak at the start of the game to increase your chances of beating your best score. The longer you play the more willing you should be to land on the ground to stay safe, as staying in air gets to be hard when the spikes move fast and nearly half the bubbles have bombs in them.

After you bounce on a bubble your jump credit is restored, but you do not activate the double jump credit again until you touch the ground.
