How to Play Paws and Claws

Use the WASD keys or the arrow keys to get the cat to slide around the stages.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially. Safely collect all the fish while avoiding running into the red spikes, getting hit by a walking porcupine, or flying off platform. The porcupines walk back and forth on whatever platform they are on.

As you advance through the game you eventually need to ride on green moving platforms. Each moving platform has a centerline marker which shows where the platform is, which can be helpful to estimate you jump timing if the platform is off screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If a fish has a spike directly behind it that means you have to fly into the fish from a different direction.

Each green platform travels on a regular route, though the speed of each platform is different. Some of the green platforms carry you too far and have you bump into spikes if you do not jump off them on time, or if you ride the when they are moving in the wrong direction.

Sometimes you need to move from one platform to another, and depending on relative speeds they can become relatively in sync or out of sync across time. If they are vastly out of sync you can wait on a fixed platform until the timing alignment becomes better.
