Oops Lava is a challenging path drawing physics puzzle game where players must draw a guideline to help the stickman safely make it to the platform with the finish flag on it while avoiding lava and a host of other hazards.

How to Play Oops Lava

Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen. Press the blue and white play button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. Choose a level number to play it.

Press your mouse left click button on the screen and drag the mouse across the screen to draw a path for the stickman to travel on. Release your mouse when you want the stickman to move.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Draw paths which safely guide the stickman to the platform with the flag on it. If the stickman can stay on that platform safely without bumping anything else for 3 seconds the stage is beat. This game has 35 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

Avoid running into obstacles like orange (lava) platforms, blue platforms, spiked balls, or spinning blades.

The stickman moves at different speeds depending on what you are doing. He rises slowly, falls fast, and goes horizontally at a speed somewhere in between.

Some stages have rotating or moving platforms which require you to time your move for when the path is clear. If you are satisfied with your path but not the timing you can wait until the moving or rotating platform is where you want it to be for your path to be clear, then release the path drawing to send the stickman in motion.

The stickman can pass through areas with a red background, but you may not draw your paths through them.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The paths you draw for the stickman should ideally be straight and have few unneeded turns in them, as the game uses ragdoll physics, which can have the ragdoll gyrate around due to rigid warped paths.

One way to ensure your path is smooth is to start not at the point of the stickman, but click somewhere else the stickman can safely reach and the game will automatically draw a straight line from the stickman to there, then continue to draw the rest of the path.

If any part of the torso hits the lava the game is over, but your feet and lower legs can touch the lava at the bottom of the screen without causing a death.

When drawing paths which are close to the lava to get around other obstacles be sure to rise a bit more than needed to get over the finishing platform. If you cut it close his legs can get stuck on the finish platform and knock him off the rail before he has enough momentum to land and stay fully on the platform.

The stickman can fall a long way and still be ok. So long as you do not have horizontal momentum you can drop him quickly from high up if he is above the finishing platform with the checkered flag.
