Make sure the path avoids hitting the many obstacles and hazards found in the game. Stationary obstacles include spiked barriers. You must move past them by navigating through gaps between them. Moving obstacles such as spinning blades and buzz saws require timing to evade. Make sure that the mouse successfully evades each obstacle by planning your paths and moving at just the right moment.
The game has 45 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. You can clear your previous game data by selecting the gear button on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen. This cannot be undone.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Remember: the mouse is wider than the line you draw. Make sure to give adequate clearance for the mouse by drawing enough space between the line and the hazards it may cross.
Later levels can have many moving parts. Try to create a path that lets you avoid as many of these obstacles as possible. You can, for instance, travel down the edges of the screen to avoid any of the hazards.
If you must pass through hazard, think carefully about the timing and plan accordingly. Press the button at the right time to help the mouse get past the obstacles that open and close. Sometimes, you can have the mouse clear one obstacle but get trapped in another. In these situations, consider delaying the mouse in some way (e.g. looping paths) before passing through the next obstacle.
Make sure to use quick motions when drawing lines. This will help you avoid running out of line length before reaching the end point. Be sure to have the line pass through the key; the mouse cannot exit without it.
