How to Play Motocross Hero

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin. When playing for the first time, the game also plays a short tutorial slideshow.

On a desktop, use the WASD or arrow keys to move. Press the W and D keys to the up and down arrows to change lanes. Press the A or left arrow key to brake and tilt back. Press the D or right arrow key to accelerate or tilt forward.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Race your motorcycle down the road for as long as possible. Use the nitro strips and nitro ramps on the road to give your motorcycle a significant speed boost. Jump off ramps and stick your landing or make your competitors crash to earn extra points.

Avoid crashing as much as possible. You will crash if you fail to land successfully or if you hit another biker from anywhere other their front. While you will not crash if you pass through cracks on the road, you will slow down.

You begin each race with 3 lives. You lose a life each time you crash. Lose all your lives and it’s game over.

You gradually earn points as you move forward. You gain extra points from making impressive jumps and tripping up opponents. You can earn between 200 to 800 points from successful jumps and 1,000 points from making opponents crash. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. Both your latest and best scores are visible on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

While flying in mid-air, we recommend alternating between leaning forward and backward. This will help increase your chances of sticking your landings.
