Minimal Memory is a spatial memory game where players have to remember which tile locations illuminate.

How to Play Minimal Memory

Press the PLAY button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.

Choose a level to play it, or select hard to play in hardcore mode.

Left click on tiles which were illuminated while avoiding those that did not light up.

Basic Gameplay Advice

You can select the illuminated tiles in any order, though may not select any tiles that were not lit. Any mistakes and it is game over.

In ordinary mode when you lose you keep your level progress, though in hard mode you start back at the beginning of the game on any mistake.

When you have selected all of the correct tiles the stage is beat. Each level has 3 stages on it. Complete all the stages to complete a level.

The first stage starts off with a simple 3×3 grid, though the size of the grid grows to 4×4 on the second level and larger as you advance through the levels, with the grid reaching 72 cells in a 9×8 configuration on the tenth and final level.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Try to remember key cells which are aligned with lit cells or part of lit cell sequences in shapes like lines, diagonals, L-shaped, or plus-shaped patterns.

You can leave your mouse cursor over one cell and put a finger over another key cell to remember where they were.

You can take a screenshot of the stage right as the last light illuminates to know which buttons to hit.
