Basic Gameplay Advice
This is a 20-stage platformer game where you collect fortune cookies to equip a panda with the skills needed to become a ninja.
Avoid falling off platform, running into fixed obstacles (spikes, ice sickles, bamboo), getting hit by flying arrows, or letting enemies like bears and snakes attack you. Most basic enemies like snakes or bugs walk back and forth without chasing you. The bear and the bosses are much more active in chasing you down.
Make it to the level exit at the end of each stage to advance. Boss stages require beating the boss to collect a key to unlock the door and advance.

The game has a number of fortune cookies in it which help power up your ninja panda.

Boss Battles
This game features 3 separate boss battles on levels 7, 14, and 20 where you encounter a Lingzhi Guardian, Snow Kenji, and the God of Fortune.
Each of the bosses start with many hit points, and then turn an angry red and get more aggressive when their health gets low.
Lingzhi Guardian
Lingzhi Guardian is the first boss, which you encounter on level 7. He chases after you and runs a bit quicker than you do, stopping after he makes a headbutt attack attempt. Get distance from him and shoot at him. As he approaches dash (or jump and dash) in the opposite direction he is traveling, so that you pass by him before he can attack you. His attack gets a bit more aggressive when his health is low. Be careful with your timing so that you do not walk on spikes or get bumped into them from an attack.
Be sure you avoid the spikes on the ground as hitting them takes a lot of health.
Snow Kenji
Snow Kenji is the second boss you face, with the battle happening on level 14. Snow Kenji has a sword, but also has an attack which can throw a shockwave at you. He is not quick other than when he is attacking, and you can use time when he is still to get some distance between you and him so that you can shoot him from afar. He pauses when his health goes below 600 hit points and once again when health goes below 350 hit points.
The strategy with him is to try to keep enough distance between you and him so that he never swings the sword, as when he swings once he then follows up by warping near where you are and swinging again, then if his health is low enough he tries to swing a third time sending a shockwave (or a set of 3 shockwaves) outward.
Be sure you avoid the icicles on the ground as they take a lot of health.
God of Fortune
The God of Fortune is the third and final boss, which you battle in the final stage of the game. The God of Fortune does an attack wave then goes close to the ground where you can attack him. You can typically hit him 3 or 4 times with shots while he is on the ground. In some cases you can also double jump and then use the shock dash to attack him while he is in midair.
The first attack type consists of Chinese red envelopes, which are known as hongbao (红包) in Mandarin, or lai see (利是) in Cantonese. He shoots the envelopes directly at you, one at a time, in a series of 6 throws.
The second attack type is akin to an earthquake, where the Earth comes up at you. There is a yellow warning indicator which lets you know it is time to jump or double jump to stay in the air. He does 3 earthquakes in an attack set.
The third attack has basically a wall of Chinese red envelopes come in from each side of the screen. You have to race to one side to get past them, then race back the other way to get past the second wave. You can shock dash through the wall without getting hit, otherwise you can repeatedly get hit by the red envelopes.
The fourth attack is something he only does when he is nearly dead. In it he once again throws Chinese red envelopes, but he shoots them in a circular pattern, fanning out all directions around him.
Game Modes
This game features 2 modes: normal and hard. On hard mode the boss battles are exceptionally difficult.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Be careful with ensuring you do not hit spikes, ice sickles, or bamboo, as they do massive damage and can even one-hit defeat you. Also be careful when falling down from higher platforms. Use the screen background and layout to ensure you will land in a safe spot.
When fighting enemies try to use range attack as much as possible to avoid taking damage. Most enemies stay on a particular platform, so if you can hit them from an adjacent platform or shoot them while you are jumping you can do damage from afar where they can not hit you.
As you get close to the end of the game many advanced jumps are required. Be sure to time your movements carefully to ensure you do not miss a jump or hit bamboo.
Three stages of the game contain magic boxes. One of them you can push around like a player might push a Sokoban box. The other two move in the same direction you move, but at a much faster rate than you move. If you need to move closer to them and do not want them to move you can do the dash in the direction of the box and the box will not move, then walk the opposite direction to pull the box closer to you and then dash back toward it again.
Educational Aspects
This game can help players improve their hand eye coordination.
Player Age Recommendations
The game is a bit challenging and requires patience, but the cuteness of it along with how short the levels are makes it a fun game for all ages. Players who find the game too easy can enjoy playing in hard mode – good luck!
