Knife Dart is a simple tap-timing knife toss game. Throw the knives at the spinning target without hitting any of the other knives already lodged in. Lodge in as many knives as you can in as many targets as possible.

How to Play Knife Dart

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.

Select anywhere to shoot the knives.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Shoot the number of knives indicated on the bottom right corner. The knives must hit an open part of the spinning target at the top of the screen. For much of the game, this target is a spinning log. If you hit any of the knives, it’s game over.

A meter appears on the top center of the screen. Each time you’ve cleared out all the knives on the bottom left corner. Clear all the knives and you receive a new target. The meter fills up the more targets you clear. Once you’ve filled up the meter, your next target is a metal shield.

You earn 1 point for every knife you successfully throw at the spinning target. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. Your best score appears with your latest score on the game over screen.

Collect sacks of coins by hitting the bags of money on the target with knives. These bags can yield between 1 and 3 coins each. You can use the coins to unlock new knives; there are 12 unlockable knives in the knife shop screen. View the knife shop screen by selecting the shop button on the bottom left center of the welcome screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Pay attention to how fast the target spins. Shoot quickly when the target spins slowly, then shoot carefully when the target spins fast.

Likewise, do not shoot quickly in rapid succession for too long. When the target’s been spinning in one direction too long, stop for a moment and wait until it starts spinning in the opposite direction.
