How to Play Kiko Adventure

Press the green start button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. Tap on a level number to play it.

Use the arrow keys to move around the playing field.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game features 13 stages which are unlocked sequentially. Originally the game had 15 stages in it, but the background platforms slid on stages 7 and 10, making those stages almost impossible to beat. We removed those from the game and pulled the subsequent levels forward.

Stages contain a variety of fruits you can collect to score bonus points and 3 milk bottles. A level is considered complete when you obtain all 3 milk bottles.

You can jump on enemies to crush them, but if you run into the side of them you lose health. On each stage you get 3 hearts. If you hit enemies 3 times or fall into the water it is game over.

You can jump up through bridges, but other platforms are solid and impenetrable.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

In this game it is far easier to fall down than it is to climb up, thus it can make sense to try to grab the high up milk bottles before going after the low bottles, unless there is an easy path to climb back up after grabbing the low bottles.

The game does not record a total game score in terms of points, so you don’t really have to collect the fruits unless you want to, as they do not factor into your game progress.

In many cases you have to retrace your path to reach all of the milk bottles. It is best to take out enemies you encounter one at a time, as taking damage and passing back through to take damage again means that if you get hit anywhere else you lose the stage.
