How to Play Hidden Food

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play to begin or Help to open the tutorial. If you’ve played the game before, the game will ask you if you want to resume your previous playthrough or start a new one.

Select items to identify them.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal in each level is to find all the items shown on the top row within the time frame provided. If you run out of time, it’s game over. If you haven’t found any of the items in a while, the game will shake them, providing you with a free hint. The game starts off hinting at the leftmost items and works its way right.

The game’s 20 levels are unlocked sequentially. You begin each new playthrough on the first level. Each time you reload the game, you have the option to begin at the last level you’ve unlocked. The game continues until you finish all 20 levels or when you end a level in a game over.

The amount of time you have in each level varies. In general, levels give you more time to search for all items, but more items to search for. This leads to less time being allotted for you to look for each object. Likewise, as you progress through the levels, you must work through denser and denser levels of clutter.

You earn 50 points for every item found and an extra 2 points for every second left on the timer. Your score is cumulative across all levels. You can save your score to the leaderboard by selecting the

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Try to look for the easiest objects search for or the objects that are the most common. This will allow you to conserve your hints for the objects that are harder to look for.

On some of the later stages the game experience may appear to bug out a bit, with some items not being easily clickable. If this happens you will need to replay the stage again. This issue happens rarely on the last 4 stages of the game.
