Go Chicken Go Game Review
Go Chicken Go Game Background
Go Chicken Go is a simple yet remarkably challenging cross the road game. Your job is to help the chickens fulfill the old joke and bring them to the other side, which isn’t an easy task in a road with heavy traffic. Help as many chickens get across as possible.
The game’s concept was first pioneered in the 1980s by Frogger. The main difference is that the orientation of the game’s hazards, which are horizontal in Frogger and vertical in this game.

On a desktop, press the arrow keys or WASD keys to move. On a touchscreen device, tap on the screen and swipe in the desired direction to move.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Move the chickens one by one across the treacherous road and stream. The chicken you can move is shown with an arrow. The chickens must cross 3 lanes of traffic, hop between two logs floating across the river, and cross 3 more lanes of traffic before reaching the other side of the road.
You have 25 chickens in the left side of the road, which represent the number of tries you can make. The game ends when you run out of chickens.
The trucks swerve and move in varying speeds, making it a challenge to dodge them. When a truck approaches the chicken, time slows down, giving you a few brief moments to attempt to dodge the truck. Successfully dodging the truck grants you 200 points.
There is no safe space between the road and the river. Make sure to cross when a log is present. Don’t ride the log all the way to the top or bottom.
Picking up golden feathers will grant you 150 points and a brief speed boost.
The points you earn from actually finishing vary depending on your speed. The faster you get the chicken to the other side, the higher your score will be.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
To determine which chicken you’re moving without the arrow above them, move the chicken up or down while they’re still with the rest of the flock.
Buying yourself time is a crucial part of the game. Being able to move vertically and horizontally makes a world of difference in avoiding oncoming vehicles. The best way to do this is to choose exactly where you should cross. We recommend crossing the street away from where the vehicles enter, which would be from the top of the screen from the left and the bottom of the screen on the right. One way of maximizing your space is to move from the bottom edge until you reach the river, ride a log to the middle or top, then move from the middle or top to the other side.
Feathers are a crucial part of your escape strategy. The speed boost it grants can help you dodge vehicles with ridiculous ease. However, you should still move with care; a clumsy misstep can send you falling into the river or in the path of a car.
Educational Aspects
The game hones a player’s response times and hand-eye coordination. Players must respond quickly and decisively to get the chickens to safety.
