Geometry Jump Game Review
Geometry Jump Game Background
Geometry Jump is a rhythm-based running game inspired by the hit game Geometry Dash created Robert Topala of RobtopGames. Help the square monster reach the end of the level by jumping over obstacles and onto platforms at the right time.
How to Play Geometry Jump
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to open the level selection screen or select the face button on the center right to open the character selection screen.
On the level selection screen, browse by selecting the left and right arrows or select the level name at the center to begin. On the character selection screen, choose any of the character faces to select it; there are 48 characters to choose from.
Once you’ve started the game, left click or tap to jump.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Your monster character automatically moves forward; make them jump at the right time to hop onto platforms and evade spikes. Avoid hitting the spikes or the sides of the platforms; each time you do, you must restart the level from the beginning. Keep the monster moving forward until it reaches the end of the level.
The game has 3 levels, which are all playable at the start of the game. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress, in this case refers to how far you’ve gotten in the levels you haven’t yet beaten.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Don’t start a level expecting to finish it on your first try. The key to mastering this game is patience. You’ll need to memorize where the obstacles are and gradually learn to anticipate them. Be prepared to replay a level over and over again before you beat it.
We recommend listening to the level’s music when playing. Often, the music’s rhythm can help cue you in on any major changes to the layout of the path in front of you.
Educational Aspects
The game challenges a game’s response times and sensitivity to sights and sounds. Regular practice can help players develop their hand-eye coordination and responsiveness to rhythm.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is suitable for older school-aged players and above; younger gamers may not have the patience to play this game. We recommend it for players who like obstacle avoidance rhythm games.
