This version of the game was created by lumm369 and appears to have been inspired by another game created by Robert Topala of RobtopGames.

How to Play Geometry Dash

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.

Select the flag button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen. Wait until the game fully loads, then select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to get started. On the level selection screen, use the left and right arrows on either edge to browse for a level. Select the level’s name to begin.

The block automatically moves forward. To make it jump, left click or tap anywhere on the screen. Time your clicks or taps to avoid hitting spikes or the sides of platforms. Use glowing yellow orbs to increase your jumps. Passing through portals will put your block on a hoverboard. While on the hoverboard, left click or tap to ascend and release to descend.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to dodge all the obstacles in the level until you reach the end. The number on the top left corner indicates the percentage of the level you completed. Keep moving until you reach the end of the level. If you crash into a spike or a platform, you must restart the level from the beginning.

At any moment, you can pause the game using the pause button on the top right corner of the screen. Select the octagon button to quit the game and select the flag button to quit and return to the welcome screen.

The game counts the number of times you restart the level and shows it to you at the beginning. The counter resets to zero if you close or quit the game.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

This version does not have the Practice Mode available on the commercial version of the game, so the only way to get good is to practice on the main levels themselves. The key to mastering this game is patience. Be prepared to practice the level multiple times before finishing it. Don’t go into the levels expecting that you’ll beat it the first time.

We recommend playing this game along with the music. Most levels have music whose rhythms map to the jumps needed to clear the level. In these cases, the music will help you anticipate the location of obstacles so you can jump over them.

The game tests a player’s reaction time and sensitivity to sight and sound. Playing the game regularly can hone players’ hand-eye coordination and responsiveness to rhythm.
