How to Play Find Mate

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play below the game’s title to open the level selection screen. On the level selection screen, select the arrows on the left and right to browse for mazes. Once you’ve picked a maze, choose Select to begin.

Select each of the highlighted circles to move around the logic-defying maze.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your main goal is to help our hero navigate the maze of bridges and steps to look for a flower and reach his girlfriend within a span of 3 minutes, all while avoiding the wandering guards on patrol. The mazes can appear bizarre and hard to navigate, so you must move from one section to the next as indicated by the dark spot on the floor.

Guards patrol a particular spot in the maze on a predictable pattern. They do not pursue your hero. However, each time a guard on patrol catches your character, he is pushed back to the last point he was in.

The game has 6 different mazes with various themes, some of which have surreal, impossible geometries inspired by the artwork of M.C. Escher. Part of the fun is figuring out how it all works. All the mazes are unlocked at the start of the game. Each time you reload the levels, the position of the hero’s girlfriend and the flower change, which makes each playthrough unique.

You receive a score based on how fast you finish the level. The quicker you finish, the higher your final score will be. On the game over screen, you can share both the game and your final score with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Upon loading, the game does a flyby of each maze, which reveals the position of both the girlfriend and the flower. Try to remember which path leads to each, then make your way through them as soon as you can.

Move quickly when passing through an area patrolled by a guard. You may end up wasting time irf the guards keep forcing you back. Memorize their paths and make your move as soon as you can. Sometimes, you can exploit a guard’s path by moving to a space further out from your target, even if it is still patrolled by a guard. In this manner, when the guard catches you, you return much further away from your starting point.
