How to Play Duck Auto Run

Left click on the play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.

Left click to start moving anytime a new level loads, then left click again each time you want to jump. The duck automatically runs until it runs into something, then switches directions.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Avoid running into spikes or snakes or you die. Collect up to 3 stars on each stage then make it to the egg to complete each level.

This game has 20 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

You can jump back and forth off of walls to climb up high. You can also slide down a wall slowly to adjust your timing.

Concrete blocks break after you walk on them or hang on their sides.

Starting from level 13 you need to grab a key on some stages to unlock access to the egg in the nest.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

When you hang on a wall the dismount is a jump down in the opposite direction. Timing passage across narrow areas where there are snakes and spikes can also mean timing your jump to avoid grabbing the wall hanging down from the ledge above.

If you are having trouble collecting all the stars on a stage continue to play through the game until it is complete and later come back to the level. When the game is completed all 20 stages remain unlocked and the level select screen shows how many stars you collected on each stage.

This game helps players develop timing skills along with promoting good hand eye coordination. Frequent deaths can be frustrating, which can help kids develop resiliency and better emotional control.
