How to Play Digger Bob

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center of the screen.

On the desktop, you can use your mouse or keyboard to move around. Left click anywhere with your mouse to steer. On your keyboard, use the WASD or arrow keys to move:

• To move up, press the W or up arrow keys
• To move left, press the A or left arrow keys.
• To move down, press the S or down arrow keys.
• To move right, press the D or right arrow keys.

Tap and swipe anywhere onscreen with your fingers to move on a touchscreen device.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal in this game is to collect gems within the level’s play area. This consists of yellow brown stone surrounded by a border of much harder impermeable rock. You can use Bob’s digging machine to dig through the stone to retrieve gems. Collect all 10 gems to finish the game.

Bob’s digger uses up fuel as it digs through the earth (no fuel is spent when moving through tunnels already dug). Move back to the surface and go to the gas pump to refuel.

Dig up all the gems in the level as quickly as you can. A timer on the top right corner shows you how much time has elapsed. Your web browser automatically saves your best time. You can compare your current and best times on the game over screen. Replay the game to see how fast you can finish it.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Create a shaft directly under it. From there, branch out to the gems as you find them. The central shaft toward the pump should be the only way back up to the surface. This will save you time by giving you instant access to the gas pump. It will also help you from getting lost.
