How to Play Color Block Blast 3

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.

Select each block, then drag and drop it to where you want to put it on the grid. Work fast, as new blocks appear quickly.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Drag and drop the blocks on the conveyor onto the desired spot on the grid. Form continuous groups of 3 or more identically colored blocks to clear them from the grid. Work fast. If a block reaches the end of the conveyor without being placed manually, it will be placed at a random spot anywhere on the grid, which is usually not the best place for it. Each time you clear a group of blocks with blocks above it, these blocks will “fall” upward.

As the game progresses, you must match more block colors. The conveyor also moves faster. The game ends when the blocks reach the bottom of the screen.

Occasionally, you can receive bombs. These clear away any group of blocks regardless of color.

Each block is worth 5 points. You earn a minimum of 15 points for every group you clear. Clearing groups one after another also activates the combo bonus, which applies a multiplier depending on the number of consecutive groups you’ve cleared. The first combo is worth twice the value of the blocks cleared, and so on. The combo is reset each time you fail to clear a group of blocks in a move.

Your web browser automatically saves your best score. You can compare your latest and best score on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Don’t bother placing the bombs anywhere unless you need them to clear something (e.g. free up a group of colors or whittle down the tallest part of the stack). They will automatically clear away any stray blocks and clear the grid for you. Focus instead on the blocks and find a spot for them while the bombs do their work.

If there are two adjacent identical blocks and the conveyor provides at least two more identical blocks, see if you place one block a space away from the others. Afterward, place the next block to fill in the gap between the first two and the third to create a group of four blocks.
