How to Play Circle Word

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select a game mode to begin.

To type in a word, select the letters with your mouse or fingers or type in each letter on your desktop keyboard.

Basic Gameplay Advice

You begin with a circle with letters rotating inside it. Select each letter in order or type to spell out the word formed by the spinning letters. Complete each word before the time limit expires; this is represented by the outer circle, which slowly disappears. The game ends if you run out of time.

Your score is based on how fast you spell out each word. You can view your final score on the game over screen. From there, you can also use the buttons to share the game and your score with friends on Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp.

The game has two modes. In Quick Play Mode, you begin with 3-letter words and gradually move up to 6-letter ones. In Categories Mode, you choose the length of the words before the session begins; every word you spell will be of that length.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

You often can only spell one word with the letters within, even if you can spell other valid words with them.

Often, you can stumble upon a correct guess by making several wrong guesses in a row, which will scramble the words around. Although this is quite time-consuming, it usually helps create combinations you wouldn’t have otherwise considered.

If you make one too many wrong guesses, the game will give you a hint button, which appears on the right side of the circle. Select this to instantly get two of the letters in the correct order. Unlike other games, you receive no penalty from using the hints.

The words can be plurals. Remember this when trying to spell out words in longer jumbles with an S.
