How to Play Cannon Paint

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play on the bottom center left to immediately begin the game or select Tutorial on the bottom center right to open the game’s tutorial.

The shooters automatically fire on their own, albeit very slowly. Select the shooters to move them around. Select anywhere on the grid to shoot even faster.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to reveal the image by shooting every square on the grid with paint. Your opponent, meanwhile, will wash off the colors on the grid by shooting at the squares you’ve already revealed. You must constantly boost your shooters’ rate of fire while upgrading and adding to your arsenal to outshoot your opponent and reveal the image. The number of squares you need to reveal is shown on the bottom right corner of the grid.

You earn cash as you paint squares and after you finish each level. Use the cash you’ve earned to bolster your defenses by unlocking spaces and buying news shooters.

On your side of the screen are four spaces, which you can use to store the basic shooters you buy. You also have a number of spaces closer to the grid, which holds the shooters when they’re active. Only one of these spaces are active at the start of each level. Every subsequent one needs to be purchased as the level progresses.

You can bolster your forces by buying more shooters and upgrading your existing ones. To level up your shooters, merge them together with an identical shooter. Upgraded shooters are far more efficient than their predecessors and can shoot more spaces. Be warned: your opponents’ shooters will also level up after a brief period, which is indicated by the green part of their shooter spaces.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The end-level bonus is often quite substantial, and is useful for setting up your armaments after every level. Immediately use your money to upgrade your shooter and buy more spaces to get an early lead in the game.

By aggressively boosting your attack, you often won’t need to upgrade every shooter you have on hand to overtake your opponent. That said, be sure to have as many shooters as you can when doing this, even if you don’t necessarily plan to upgrade them all.
