Cam and Leon Donut Hop is a Flappy Birds-inspired tap timing game. Move the characters up at the right time and have them pass through all the donuts they encounter. Hop through as many donuts as possible without hitting the top or bottom of the screen.

How to Play Cam and Leon Donut Hop

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button below the game’s logo to begin.

To jump, press the up arrow key on your keyboard, left click with your mouse, or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your character automatically moves forward and descends down. Jump at the right time to maintain altitude; avoid touching the top or bottom of the screen. As you move forward, pass through the donuts to earn points. Do not miss any of the donuts. Collect power ups to gain special powers that will help you throughout the game.

As you play the game, the donuts start getting tilted. A few of the donuts will move around. The frequency of the tilted and moving donuts increases the longer you play.

You begin the game with 3 lives. Each time you miss a donut, you lose a life. Lose all your lives and it’s game over. The game ends automatically if you hit the top or bottom of the screen.

You earn points based on the number of donuts you pass through. You can earn between 1 and 2 points for each hoop. If you hit the rim of the donut even once, you earn 1 point. If you pass through the hoop without hitting the donut’s rim at all (a clean dip), you earn 2 points. Your web browser automatically saves your best score; you can compare your latest and best score on the game over screen.

As you play the game, you unlock more playable characters. Each character requires a specific score to unlock. You can view and switch characters using the character selection screen, which you can open by selecting the emoji button on the bottom center left of the welcome screen. There are 6 playable characters in this game.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Move up with care. Don’t move up more than 3 times in succession to avoid hitting the top of the roof.

Don’t miss any of the donuts. On occasion, this mean favoring lower-value shots. Sometimes, it’s better to simply get into the donut rather than risk missing it to go for a clean dip.

Pick up any power up you encounter to take advantage of their bonuses. One power up, for instance, will shrink your character, increasing your odds of making clean dips down the center of the donuts.
