Bounce to Hole Game Review
Bounce to Hole Game Background
Bounce to Hole is a golf-themed game which mixes elements of a rotation puzzle, a logic puzzle, and a maze. Slide and rotate pieces as needed to get the golfball into the cup on a single stroke.
This game was published by Maximiliano Demonte’s QKY Games Studio.
How to Play Bounce to Hole
Press the play button in the lower middle of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
Left click on rotating angled blocks to rotate them counterclockwise 90 degrees.
Tap on sliding blocks to change where they are positioned.
When the pieces are aligned tap on the ball to put it in motion. The ball starts moving in the direction of the arrow near it.
You can adjust the positions of pieces even after the ball is in motion. In some states you need to in order to complete the levels.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Levels & Goal
The goal of the game is to safely get the golfball into the hole in a single stroke. This game features 30 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
The stages are untimed, so the first thing is it is important to take your time. If you make an error and the ball is destroyed or falls off the grid you start the level over with all of the pieces in their original positions.
Piece Types
This game features a variety of piece types
- Ball: after you get the pieces aligned tap on it to send the ball in motion in the direction the carrot near it points.
- Hole: the destination where you must get the ball to.
- Grass square: the ball travels over them with no change in direction nor momentum.
- Redirecting ramps: these allow you to have the ball bounce off them and change the direction the ball is moving.
- Keys: have the ball bump into the key to unlock any locked holes.
- Locks: some stages have a locked hole. The ball can not touch the hole until the lock is removed, which is done by running through the key with the ball.
- Warps: the ball goes in one and out the other, maintaining its direction as it comes out the second warp. The warps can be used interchangeably and the ball can repeatedly pass through them in either direction.
- Red blocks: destroy the ball if it runs into them
- Slide cells: tap on them to move them either across a row or column by one cell. Other block types like ramps, warps, or red blocks can also be slide cells.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Many of the courses are overdesigned, meaning that in some cases you can use only a small fraction of the total elements in the playing field yet complete the hole.
If you get stuck on a hole try to solve the problem by half splitting. Work backward from where the hole is to look for which pieces are in the same row or column to solve part of the puzzle, and work forward from where the ball starts. By working from both sides you can eliminate some of the complexity and require fewer decisions to beat the stage.
Whenever you use warps multiple times the ball can end up going in a different direction, requiring you to reposition one or more red blocks or change the angle on some of the mirror directing ramp blocks to redirect the ball.

This is a simple path making game which can help kids improve their problem solving skills and their spatial awareness.
