Avoid Dying is a simple if gruesome archery game. Hit the target with your arrows without hitting the rope holding up the giant spiky block hovering above you. Shoot as many targets as you can without hurting the stickman.

The game was developed by Demonte Maximiliano of QKY Games Studio. 

How to Play Avoid Dying

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen. The game is immediately playable upon loading; select anywhere on the welcome screen to begin.

Select, hold, and swipe to aim. Release to shoot.

Basic Gameplay Advice

As an archer, aim for the targets in between you and the giant rig holding up a spiked block hovering over you. Be sure to always hit the target; if you don’t, the arrow pierces the rope holding up the block, which drops on you, killing you instantly. After that, select anywhere onscreen to begin again.

The number of points you earn is based on how well you shoot. You earn 1 point for just hitting any part of the target and surviving, while you earn 3 points for every bullseye. You web browser automatically saves your best score. You can compare your current and best score on the game over screen; your best score also appears on the top left corner of the game screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Targets start moving after you earn 5 points or more, with their speed increasing significantly as you play the game. When shooting at a moving target, we recommend doing so as they move down to increase the odds of your shot landing. Make sure to take account of the arrow’s travel time before releasing. Toward the latter parts of the game, you sometimes have to shoot multiple targets; one stationary, the other moving. Focus on shooting the stationary one first. If you’re lucky and the moving target is in front of the stationary one, you can hit it while trying to hit the other.

It is important to remember that your arrow travels at an arc, rather than a straight line. Consider this when aiming, as it means that you need to move your bow a little higher to ensure a shot.

You earn more points when hitting a bullseye. Try to aim for a bullseye whenever you have stationary targets to shoot.

Although the game features cartoon blood and a very violent premise, it has no other form of adult content and is suited for older school-aged players and above. We recommend it for fans of archery games and those with a very dark sense of humor.
