Angry Heroes Game Background

Angry Heroes is a catapult-based level destruction game inspired by Angry Birds and Dragon Ball Z. Send our heroes flying toward the hoggish alien villains and use the fortresses they built against them. Try to knock down all the enemies in the level using as few of the heroes as possible.

How to Play Angry Heroes

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the bottom center to load the level selection screen. From there, select an unlocked level’s number to begin.

Select, hold, and pull back to charge your shot, then move your fingers or cursor to aim. Release to shoot.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Shoot the heroes from the slingshot toward the aliens’ fortress and take them out. Try to take out as many aliens as you can using as few heroes as possible. You can use power ups or falling level parts to more effectively take out the enemy aliens. If you run out of heroes; you fail the level and must start again.

Each level you play costs a life, which is shown as a heart at the top center of the level selection screen. You start with 5 lives. Select Refill Your Lives once you run out to replenish your lives. To avoid using up lives too fast, select the reset button on the top right corner of the game screen to replay a level if you want to try again.

Some levels have power ups, which are activated by selecting the screen after releasing a hero. You usually only have one power up per level.

You earn between 5 and 999 points for every enemy alien you defeat. You also earn extra points for heroes you haven’t used. You receive a star rating depending on the number of points you earn from finishing the level. The higher your score, the higher your star rating. The highest possible star rating is 3 stars.

The game has 20 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The game shows the arc your hero will fly through a dotted line. Use this to plot the trajectory of your shots to maximize the amount of damage you will inflict. Don’t be afraid to use the power ups when needed.

Try to shoot for the bottom of each fortress to destabilize it. This, the falling debris will do much of the damage for you rather than relying solely on your hero hitting them.
