Alien Kindergarten Puzzle Game Review
Alien Kindergarten Puzzle Game Background
Alien Kindergarten Puzzle is a spatial logic puzzle game where you must reorganize alien egg pods like you would with nodes on a graph. Turn every pink screen by moving the egg pods around in as few moves as you can. Hatch the eggs once you’re done.
This game was developed by RavalMatic. The look of the mama and baby aliens in the game, meanwhile, was inspired by the Xenomorphs from the Alien film series by 20th Century Studios.
How to Play Alien Kindergarten Puzzle
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select either Story or Challenge to begin. Selecting story mode will open the game’s level selection screen. Choose an unlocked level to get started.
Select an egg, then move your mouse or fingers to move it around. Release to drop it in place.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Your goal is to basically untangle the connector threads between the egg pods. Move the egg pods around until the connector threads turn from pink to green, which you accomplish by moving it to a place where the connectors don’t cross one another. These must only be connected through the eggs. Once all the threads turn green, select the eggs one by one to hatch them. On the win screen, select Next to unlock the next level.
Each level has a star rating based on the number of moves it took to clear the level. The fewer moves you use, the higher your level rating will be. Your highest possible level rating is 3 stars.
In story mode, you have 20 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay levels you’ve previously beaten to gain a higher star rating. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress and ratings.
Besides Story Mode, there is also a challenge mode where you can play random arrangements of egg pods. The number of egg pods you need to clear depends on the difficulty level.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
It is possible to beat the level by making the eggs overlap, but it requires careful placement. Putting the eggs too close together will make it hard to hatch them.
Each level can have several valid grid configurations, some of which may take fewer moves than others. Don’t be afraid to use trial and error to find out which is which. After all, you can always replay the level later.
A move in this game is defined by selection and release. Select and hold for as long as you can to avoid triggering the move count while positioning the egg pod. Release only when you find the right place for the egg.
Educational Aspects
This game hones a player’s spatial logic thinking skills.
Player Age Recommendations
Despite having Kindergarten in the title, this game is suited for older school-aged players and above. Younger players may find the game past the first few levels especially difficult. We recommend it for players who enjoy spatial logic puzzle games.
