How to Play Agent Banie

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the

On a desktop, use the keyboard to control your character. Press the left and right arrow keys to move. Press the up arrow key to jump. Shoot by pressing the C key; press and hold down the C key before releasing to shoot a charged shot. Press the Z key to use either your special attack or to activate your dash.

On a touchscreen device, tap on the screen with your fingers to control your character. Tap anywhere onscreen to move. Tap on the SA button to activate your special attack and tap on the dash button to activate your dash.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Move around the level to evade and hunt down the enemy aliens. Clear a level by taking out every alien present. Aliens start off large, but get progressively smaller and harder to shoot as you shoot them. Enemies will grow back to their original sizes if left to themselves for too long. Be sure to take them op

As they grow weaker, enemies also start attacking you. Once the enemies die, they explode into a large burst of shots.

If you touch an enemy or get hit by their shots, you die. You have infinite lives. Each time you die, you get resurrected after a few seconds and can proceed to attacking the aliens again. The level doesn’t end until you quit or kill all the aliens.

Special Moves

You can take out enemies more effectively by using special moves. Charged shots, as their name implies, shoot a single more powerful blast at enemies that deals a lot of damage at once. Although effective, they are still quite slow. Unlike other special moves, charged shots don’t require a cooldown phase, but they do demand that you stay still to charge the shot.

Special attacks must be cast while standing still. Once activated, the aliens will all receive crosshairs and will be struck by a powerful blast not long after. This attack will quickly damage most enemies and stop smaller ones in their tracks. You can only use the dash a few times due to its slow recharge time.

After summoning a special attack, you can use the dash. Dashes give you a quick burst in speed and, because it charges faster, you will find yourself using it quite often.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Death is basically a non-issue in this game. Your only main inconvenience caused by dying is that your special moves are interrupted.

Hit and run tactics are your mainstay in this game. Shoot the enemies as many times as you can, then run away from them when they approach you. Rinse and repeat. Try to look out for other enemies even as you focus on taking out one of the enemies

Charged shots, as useful as they are, work best when your target is close but the others are far. Try to chase the aliens into a corner to make them easier to shoot.
