Abstract World is a gravity-based physics puzzle game where you must take out supporting objects in the correct time to bring colored balls to their respective portals. Using only gravity and well-timed movements, use the balls’ momentum to help bring them where they need to go while avoiding any hazard along the way.

How to Play Abstract World

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button near the bottom center to load the level selection screen, select an unlocked level’s number to begin.

Select any of the circular objects to pop them.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Pop and break various circular objects in the level to bring the colored balls down. Try to break each of the objects in the correct order to bring the balls to where they need to go. You can only move the balls using gravity, which you can activate by creating a tilt on the platforms but cannot directly control. Finish the level by having all the colored balls onscreen reach their matching destination portals.

If you fail, select the reset button on the top right corner of the game screen to start the level all over again. You can retry each level as many times as you want. Your web browser records the number of tries you’ve made for each level as you play. The number of tries can be seen on the top center of the screen.

The game has 30 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. You can come back and replay previously beaten levels at any time you want.

Level Features & Mechanics

The balls are subject to gravity and other forces, in particular each other’s momentum as they hit one another. All that said, almost all of them are outside your immediate control save for the removable gray balls. Everything else moves once gravity pulls them down, but these function outside of your direct control.

The platforms with solid colors will move when the gray balls below them are removed. Removing one ball causes them to tilt on one side. Meanwhile platforms and other level elements that have a diagonal striped pattern on the remained fixed; they will not be affected by gravity at all.

Moving platforms and spikes appear later in the level. Platforms that move will affect how the bals move, while the spikes will take out balls if they hit them.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The levels get harder and harder as you proceed. Anticipate great leaps in difficulty within levels; some levels have multiple balls that need to hit each other at the right time to go where they need to go.

The game provides notes on each level. Recall these as best you can, as they can come quite handy in the succeeding levels.

Ultimately this game is an exercise in patience. Use trial and error to refine your strategies and retry the levels as many times as you want.
