How to Play 2024 Tripeaks Solitaire

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play on the bottom center to begin.

Select a card on the tableau to match it with the card at the top of the discard pile. Select any of the power up cards on the bottom right to use them. To deal more cards, select the deal pile. Select the deal pile when you’re out of cards to get more cards.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Your goal is to clear out the entire tableau of cards by matching the open cards with the topmost one on the discard pile. The card you select must be one value higher or lower than the card on the discard pile. For the purposes of the game, the Ace can be paired with either a 2 or a King. Repeat the process until the entire tableau is gone.

If none of the available cards match the one on top of the tableau, you can do the following actions:

• Draw another card from the deal pile.
• Draw a wild card or any other power up card on the right.

One of the key differences between this and other Tripeaks games is the arrangement of the cards. The levels are not arranged in three pyramids and can take on several layouts. You also cannot directly lose the game by running out of cards to deal; you have the option to buy more cards to deal. You can also get a free pack of bonus cards for your deal pile by pairing the right special card or by connecting 5 cards in a row.

The game is sorted into levels, which represent an arrangement of cards that you must solve. Levels are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. Each time you reload the game, you automatically begin at the last level you’ve beaten.

Although it is possible to fail a level, this is not very likely in practice. Power ups are relatively cheap, and you can easily earn the coins used to buy them.

Special Cards

As you play through the game, you’ll encounter various variant cards that have effects that influence how you should use them. Some cards change in value with every successful move you make; they will not change value if you deal a new card.

• Randomizer cards change value after every move you make. They have a pair of dice below their current value. These are unpredictable; ideally, you should use them at their current value.
• There are red and blue arrow cards that change their value by one. To use them at their current value, you must select them on that turn. You can also wait until they turn into a value you can use. The cards with the red downward pointing arrows decrease in value, whereas the ones with blue upward pointing arrows increase in value. Their value “resets” when they reach the Ace.

Some cards need to be unlocked to be used.

• Padlocked cards need a key card to be used. At the start of each level, the game reveals the location of the key card. To unlock the card, uncover the key card and select it.
• Cards tied by vines need scissor cards to make them available for use. Scissor cards can be matched with the card on the discard pile like other cards. It takes two scissor cards to free up a vine-tied card.
• A few levels will have some of the cards trapped in a box. The box will disappear once you’ve cleared enough cards of the suits shown on the box.

A few cards come with situational bonuses:

• Cards with a +3 on them add an extra three cards to your deal pile when you match them.
• Some cards have a bomb timer on them. These will eventually explode if you don’t select them within five matches.
• Wild cards can be matched with any card. Although you usually buy these for 200 coins, you can occasionally spot them in the tableau. Wild cards from the tableau count as part of the match count needed to gain extra deal pile cards, while those purchased on the bottom right corner do not.

Coins & Bonuses

You begin the game with 1,000 coins. Completing levels earn you more coins. You can use these to purchase a booster from the bottom right corner of the screen to assist you in finishing the level. They are as follows:

• You can buy wild cards for 200 coins. This allows you to use them without getting them from the tableau.
• You can use firework booster for 150 coins. When deployed, this will randomly destroy one of the cards onscreen.
• You can use the switch booster for 150 coins. When used, this changes the value of every card shown face up on the screen.

To buy any of these options, select their button on the bottom row. To deploy a booster, select it again.

In addition, you can also buy an extra five cards from the deal pile for 200 coins.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

We recommend choosing a sequence of matches that allow you to clear as many cards as you can before needing to deal or use a booster. Try to focus on removing cards that sit above other cards to open up more of the tableau.

Don’t be afraid to use the boosters whenever possible. They aren’t particularly expensive and will help you out of a jam, particularly in later levels.

The game is not timed. Take as much time as you need to develop a pattern to match the cards. The game will also automatically highlight any of your available options whenever you can.
